You can only delete a message in your composition area. You cannot delete a message from the Chat log. To delete a message, you can use the traditional methods like using the backspace key, or highlight and use the delete key. You can also use the Delete button next to the Send and Memo buttons. If you use the Delete button there is no need to highlight the message first. Just click the Delete button and the entire message is deleted.
