Director and Chairman of the Board
Don Spalinger is Dataquest's Vice President of worldwide Communications.
He is a founder of T3Plus Networking (On-Stream Networks), acquired
by 3Com as their broadband access products division. His background
includes Texas Instruments, Exxon Enterprises, and executive positions
at Racal Vadic, Granger Associates (DSC Communications) and Santa
Cruz Operations, wherein he has compiled a successful record in
management and executive leadership.
Founder, President, COO and Director
Frank Capone was a founding partner with Mr. Jacobsen (Connexus
Licensing) in organizing the IrDA. His fourteen years of successful
management consulting experience included five years with Coopers
& Lybrand as a high tech specialist for information management
and financial advisory services. Subsequently, he was co-founder
of a pioneering startup company in the PCMCIA market. Prior to his
consulting career, he served as manager, director or officer for
Finance and Information Technology in a variety of manufacturing
and service industry settings, including twelve years corporate
technical and financial management experience.
Vice President OEM Licensing
Rock McKinley has been a successful entrepreneur in both the PC
and semiconductor industries. His PC career launched in 1981 with
a position as Sales Manager of Software and Peripheral products
for Osborne Computer Corporation. There he co-negotiated the company's
single largest order for $12MM worth of computers and software with
ComputerLand Corporation. He was recruited into Vadem, Inc. in 1983
where he spent eight years in Product Management, OEM Sales, and
Component Distribution. At Vadem he negotiated the first IBM compatible,
battery operated, portable computer design license agreement with
Zenith Data Systems. This product design won the Internal Revenue
Service's first contract for 25,000 units. In 1991 Mr. McKinely
joined Delatech Incorporated, a semiconductor equipment company,
where he was responsible for international sales development and
management. Over his nine years with the company he was promoted
from European Sales Manager, to Director of Asian Sales and President
of Delatech Korea Ltd. He developed the Asian market into 45% of
company revenues at an annual rate of $14MM. The company was acquired
by ATMI in June 2000 where he was offered the position as Vice President
of Asian Operations. |
