SPANworks 2000 includes our patented communications technology along with four productivity applications: File Utilities, Presentation, Contacts, and Chat.

File Utilities

File Utilities is an "Explorer" style file manager for transferring, browsing, and synchronizing files and folders on your local machine and others in your proximity. Simply drag and drop files onto a colleague's computer across the meeting room, at the local coffee shop, or even while sitting outside on a sunny spring day. No more "I'll e-mail it to you when I get back to the office."

Contacts

A simple address book allowing you to automatically collect the electronic business cards from every one at the meeting and store them with your meeting notes. No more scanning of business cards, or entering in the participants later from your notes. There is even a feature to include a photo as part of the e-business card helping you remember who was who at the meeting.

Presentation

Presentation allows you to present your slide show on participant's machines eliminating the need to ensure that a slide projector is available for your meeting. You can easily use the digital pointer to direct the user to an area of their screen just as you would use a laser pointer on a large screen. Participants can make notes directly onto the their presentation screen, which are stored with the presentation on their machines for future reference. No more scribbling on and filing paper presentation decks. No more spending 15-30 minutes before a presentation at the copier machine running off presentation decks. Just walk in, turn on your portable, and go.

Chat

Chat allows you to send text messages to one, a few, or everyone in the meeting. Have you ever wanted to make a confidential comment to a colleague or your boss during a meeting, but were limited to subtle facial expressions. Now you can say what you want, when you want.

Wireless Data Projector Connectivity

Now you can give a wireless presentation using a Toshiba Bluetooth™ Enabled LCD Data Projector. Connect to the projector automatically, and control it with SPANworks 2000 Professional from anywhere in the room. No more cables. No more being limited to giving your presentation within cables length of the projector.

PDA and Cell Phone Connectivity

SPANworks 2000 Professional adds connectivity to PDA's with SPANworks II, and with cellular phones enabled with Bluetooth™.

SPANworks 2000 Professional includes unique Bluetooth™ features to automatically manage your Bluetooth™ links while in a SPANworks session. So you don't have to worry about the specific requirements of the Bluetooth™ technology. All you have to do is start SPANworks 2000 Professional and start working. The connection happens automatically.

Now you can exchange addresses, phone numbers, and any other important information on your PDA's and notebook computers with the ease and simplicity using wired or wireless networking media such as Wi-Fi™ and Bluetooth™.
